How far is the Delta sky club from Air Tahiti Nui terminal ? Wondering if it would be worth paying for a Delta day pass. We have a 6 hour lay over. Does the area where Air Tahiti Nui is have restaurants, shopping and a comfortable place to spend time while waiting for your flight? Thank you

the international terminal is pretty bad although it was just renovated. get the day pass.

The ATN area is not comfortable. The Tom Bradly Terminal however is beautiful. There is a Lounge on the upper floor (KoreanAir) where they accept Priority Pass Members. We stayed there 4hrs prior to our ATN flight, well worth it. We also had assigned seats on ATN so we did not have to get to the gate earlier than necessary.

The Delta Sky Club is in Terminal 5. This is nowhere near ATN in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). See map

The terminals at LAX do NOT have air-side access to each other. That means when you leave one terminal, you have to go through security to get into the other. Consider this is you still want to use the Delta lounge in terminal 5.

 

The new TBIT is really nice - especially compared to the old international facilities. If you want lounge access, I agree that Priority Pass is your best bet. That will get you into the Korean Air lounge in the TBIT for about $27 pp, or free with a new credit card. The Priority Pass is also good for access to the lounge in Papeete.

 

Without Priority Pass, most day passes are $50 per person. I don't think any of them are worth that. $50 will go a long way for much better food and drinks in the many restaurants at TBIT. See restaurant reviews here:

I was in the TBIT Oneworld lounge three weeks ago for a business trip. I was there at breakfast time. I liked being able to shower before my very long flight to Hong Kong. The food was okay. I think I got about $25 worth of value out of it. I wouldn't pay $50. Star Alliance, and Korean (Skyteam) also have lounges in TBIT.

Here is a map of the TBIT, showing restaurants. Most lounges are on the 5th, and 6th floors, accessed by the elevator/escalator at the "Time Tower".
