West End snorkeling?

Can anyone tell me about the snorkeling in West End. We are getting tired of the West Bay area crowds and wanted to try something different on the same west side.

Such things are a matter of opinion. Many believe Half Moon Bay not worth getting wet for and others think it grand indeed.

 

Perhaps a search of snorkeling Half Moon Bay Roatan would get you results.

 

You may want to hire a boat to wander bits of the reef between West End and West Bay. I found many places in Sandy Bay great fun as well.

We went to West End on our first visit and snorkeled from shore. There were a few coral heads but nothing that Wowed us. Much better snorkeling at Tabyanna but the crowds kill the moment. Next trip I plan on booking with Upachaya Resort. I tried to on our last trip but they were booked full. If that happens again we will head to Maya Key.
