Mazatlan Pools Hopping

It is great to head back to Mazatlan this December. Wondering if any one have latest info on which hotels in Golden Zone still ok with these activities. Just walk in from beach, buy some drink, food and use pool. Most info on internet is prior to 2012. We did Stone Island few years back and it was wonderful. This time our family like to discover Hotels in Golden Zone. If any info, please share. Thank you in advance.:)
