Was wondering will the cruise have a Halloween theme or party?

You are about to go to the Worlds Best Costume Contest and Party at sea! We are taking our second Halloween Cruise this year, went last year too and we booked again just for Halloween! It was so much fun! ---->whoop whoop, 12 days away! :D :D :D

 

They will decorate the ship but only for about 24 hours. The passengers will decorate individual cabin doors and for the first time, I found myself walking all the floors with cabins just to see the decorations - some were out of this world!

 

There will be a costume contest and a party too! But show up in the Atrium right after dinner for the best viewing! That is when the staff picks the finals to go up on stage in the contest and it is a great time! Prepare to laugh and be entertained! You will wonder how they got some of these costumes aboard they are so elaborate! (And don't worry, some are simple - you will see EVERYTHING!!)

I have to agree! Halloween on a cruise ship is so much fun. We will be on the Paradise this year and we can't wait. The costumes are so amazing and even the simple ones have won twice on the cruises we have been on. Two years ago there was a headless horseman that was amazing. Bring you costume and have a blast! We sailed on the Splendor last year for Halloween and the ship was decorated on when we embarked and Halloween was the last sea day so there was a Halloween vibe the whole cruise. There were lots of professional photo ops with Halloween backgrounds. On Halloween the majority of passengers were dressed up. There was a costume contest, special dessert in MDR and kids trick or treating at certain locations around the ship. It was a fun time!

I also have cruised over Halloween a couple of times. It is AMAZING the costumes you'll see!!! Very creative and clever and even some risque! Be sure you have your camera...

Even the desserts are themed and costumed...
