Newsbuff16 Posted August 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2005 We had a French Martini -Vodka, Chambord, and Pineapple juice. It was delicious! We were introduced to it by Andre in the Viking Crown.

digital_curator Posted August 19, 2005 #6 Share Posted August 19, 2005 French Martinis are my fave of the "new-fangled" martinis:) This isn't a typical tropical drink, but I love the Highland Cooler available in the pub ($5): CC Whiskey Lemon Juice Sugar Bitters Gingerale Orange Garnish I tried this the first night when I was a little queasy- for the medicinal properties of the gingerale of course (same excuse for the sushi first night- love that pickled ginger):D I loved the drinks of the day also (I was on the NOS but they are usually the same kinds)- remember they are cheaper in a normal glass!: Pina Colada Bay Breeze Goombay Smash (one of my absolute faves) Bahama Mamma (another fave) The bartenders are also really helpful- if you tell them the flavours you like, they will come up with something that suits your tastes. I also really loved the fact that each bar had its own drinks- mojitos in Boleros, champagne cocktails in the champagne bar, etc. It was fun to go around the ship and try new things at each one. Cheers,

sleeples23 Posted August 19, 2005 #8 Share Posted August 19, 2005 I tried so many wonderful new drinks on the Voyager last month...my only regret is that I don't know how to make them the way they did on the ship. Does anyone know if there are any recipes listed or drink books available from RCCL or the cruise critic boards?:o
