geomagot Posted October 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2014 thomson has confirmed that bonded luggage will operate in montego bay for thomson cruise passengers the same as it does in barbados passengers are put on busses to the ship straight from the tarmac...jamaica immigration is done on the ship (in medusa) on the morning of departure at the end of the cruise luggage is taken straight from aircraft to ship and should turn up outside your cabin a couple of hours later same for return flight, luggage is taken the night before and trucked straight to the aircraft so no queuing at checkin/bag drop....just go straight thru to security…you will next see your luggage on the carousel at the other end thosmsons have got this down to a fine art...its a v slick operation:cool:

gandalf123 Posted October 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Remember to pack a tiny suntan cream in your hand luggage along with shorts/T shirt etc as you will be on board in the sun enjoying yourself for a few hours before you get your bags. Last year we got our bags 3 hours after arriving on board and being on one of the first planes in managed to get a sunbed near the pool, the only time in 6 weeks on the Dream this has happened.
