We booked a 2B cabin - 6132 -close to your cabins but on Solstice and we were really pleased with it. This cabin looked out on a metal white platform just below before you see deck 5 board walk just a little further along to the right - as the photo below shows taken from our balcony. I think your cabins will be either over or the white barrel thing or in between that and the top right hand white structure. See the next photo below for a different view from decks 5. I think you will be fine:)

Thanks. We are between the white barrels and the big white block thing. Appears that we will be looking down on deck 5 instead of directly down to the water but no problem.

We saw a 2D cabin during a cabin crawl on the Eclipse. The lifeboat came up to the top of the railing. You could not see anything but the lifeboat unless you were standing at the rail. The people in the cabin said it didn't bother them - if they were sitting on the balcony and wanted to see the water they just stood up.

Just in case anyone is interested, that "big white block thing" that has been mentioned a few times is a mass evacuation system. It houses a huge raft and chutes that cay hold around 400 people and after they are deployed it is the entrance into the chutes that are used to leave the ship. There are four of these systems on each S class ship.
