canadarocks Posted October 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Is the water park on De Palm Island for adults as well as children? I've watched a few YouTube videos, so I know not to expect "Disney" quality. But it does look like it could be fun. Any other "kids at heart" that have been there and can comment? :D
Arubalisa Posted October 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2014 It is small. Nothing like what you see in a typical waterpark here in the states. I would assume most if not all Canadian waterparks are much larger as well. My 18 yo daughter says it is a waterpark that a little kid would LOVE. ;)

OCruisers Posted October 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Great for younger children but not suited for adults. ;) LuLu
canadarocks Posted October 22, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Thanks LuLu. I'm trying to decide whether my DH & I should go to De Palm Island next March, and the Water Park seemed to be a major plus. If it's not something we will use, then I'm not sure now. homeschoolmama Posted October 22, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 22, 2014 There are plenty other things to do there. Fantastic shallow water snorkeling with parrot fish the size of a smsll child. Last year i counted upwards of 50 different species. There are bananaboat rides....quite fun. Unlimited food and drink. De palm is one of our favorite thingsto do in Aruba. The water park is more kid oriented, though my 62 year old sister did it and had fun......but it is no disney typhoon lagoon. OCruisers Posted October 22, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 22, 2014 DePalm Island has lots of pluses. You'll be amazed at the Blue Parrot Fish! It's a fun place to go and enjoy! :D LuLu
Arubalisa Posted October 22, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Definitely what LuLu said--->>> Great for younger children but not suited for adults. If the price tag doesn't scare you off, for a day on the water swimming, snorkeling and all inclusive food and beverage, it is a nice way to spend the day. :)

It seems like an okay price, especially for a ship's excursion. Definitely leaning towards it anyways! ;)

suzzek Posted October 29, 2014 #12 Share Posted October 29, 2014 We are on a Celebrity cruise in Jan. and I'm looking at the ship's excursion to the island. Does anyone know if it is all-inclusive if I book it from the ship so I can use some OBC?
