sandbag7 Posted August 31, 2005 #26 Share Posted August 31, 2005 just Kidding Jane! It does seem a bit much.. My last cruise was with Windstar, on the Windspirit; virtually all the cabins were the same size with a difference of $100.00 depending on which deck you were on; all passengers were greeted by the captain on arrival, with no waiting. It's a much smaller ship mind you, but the absence of all these namby pamby differences together with open dining policy also seemed to promote a positive atmosphere. Anyway, I'm STILL looking forward to our Oceania cruise, even if I have to wait in line; but if the wait is more than a half hour I will throw a fit, and they'll speed things up JUST to get rid of me! esther e Posted August 31, 2005 #27 Share Posted August 31, 2005 Esther: Does the Butler sleep under your bed or in the overhead compartment?Doc: Once again, good advice; even when the times are posted people (usually younger) are apt to challenge the deadlines; in Barbados a couple of years ago I saw a whole group of people sprinting to their ship through rush hour traffic (I was suprosed to find there WAS a rush hour). Safety in numbers, hopefully. Actually, we prop him up in the bathtub. It works pretty good!!!:D Esther
