Levity on the Getaway

Woo-hoo....100 days out today and I just booked our dinners and shows. :D

Who can tell me about the Levity comedy shows on the Getaway??

I am assuming it is a team - kinda like Second City was on the Epic and Breakway?? Different show each night and the late night is more adult than the early show??

It's a stand up comedy act. The host tells jokes for about 10 minutes or so and then the main act is about a half hour.

 

The late night show is adult only and the only shows are more family friendly.

Nope, it's stand-up comedy. When we sailed there were two headliners who did shows throughout the week. Each did 30-40 minutes during their particular show with a warm up act that did 10-15 minutes.

FYI The warmup act is the same. I went with a group two nights in a row and the host didn't change one joke. Almost walked out.

The comedians change all the time - like every 2 weeks, or so. Most of these are national acts who have made the late night tv circuit, etc. If you follow comedy at all, you might easily recognize a name or 2. In general you are getting quality performances.
