Harbor Beach Marriott

We are book here pre-cruise in Novemeber. Can you tell me if its "walkable" to anything? Shopping? Restaurants? Bars?

It looks like a fabulous place!!

Harbor Beach Marriott IS a gorgeous place, on the nicest part of Fort Lauderdale Beach... But you can't walk to shopping or much of anything else. You can walk out and get to the Water Taxi though, and use that to get to Las Olas Blvd. (Riverside Hotel), or SE 17th Street (Marina Marriott) and you can walk to shopping & dining from there... The quickest way though is to just grab a taxi.

I have been there twice, each time for 4 days ...never even wanted to leave but the Water Taxi is a great idea. You will love that hotel have a great time.

I really didn't think that the water taxi was an option from the Harbor Beach. (Thanks for the link!) This is our pre-cruise stay. We're staying at Bahia Mar post-cruise to be nearer everything else. Harbor Beach looks so nice...we probably will not leave the resort (except for maybe dinner) and save the sightseeing for post-cruise. But nice to know we have options. Thanks Trent & Mommy for your input!!!!!
