sunlite Posted November 26, 2014 #51 Share Posted November 26, 2014 Thanks. I may give it a try, even if only for a day. You know, just to post some pics to Facebook to taunt my friends. :p Me too- post some pictures to taunt my friends. haha As much as it is nice to unplug from the cyber world, it will be nice to text my family to see where they are. Last time we spent way too much time "looking" for each other.
NCTribeFan Posted November 26, 2014 #52 Share Posted November 26, 2014 I just use post-it notes on bathroom mirrors or cabin door. You know, the old-fashioned way, where you had to actually plan ahead and say "I'll meet you in a particular place at a particular time." :D Yeah, I'm old, but think planning and scheduling are actually useful skills that are rather lacking these days! Off my soapbox. :p Have to get through this last workday!
Seattlejo Posted November 26, 2014 #53 Share Posted November 26, 2014 I get that, but for some folks internet is more then just a way to make plans. i read a great blog post about a guy using cruise ships for remote work. http://tynan.com/cruisework When I grow up i want to be able to do that, and I think more affordable internet will help. ;)
watermelonqueen99 Posted November 27, 2014 #54 Share Posted November 27, 2014 Oh, I hope this is on the Triumph in April! We cruise without our kids, so this would be a great way to keep in touch!
