synet165 Posted November 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Good Morning: Am sailing on Gem this Saturday after a long absence from NCL and don't remember if the safes have a numerical keypad or do you still have to use the old fashioned type of credit card. I would appreciate a prompt answer so that I can plan. Thanks SYNET165

computerworks Posted November 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2014 I would appreciate a prompt answer so that I can plan. You have from now until Saturday to come up with a 4-digit code. ... plenty of time.

computerworks Posted November 11, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 11, 2014 To be perfectly accurate, and not to sidetrack the planning... It is a ten-digit pad, with a 4-digit combination. ;)

synet165 Posted November 11, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Thanks all. I just wanted to know if NCL came into the 21st century. Last time, years ago they did not have numerical keypads, like other cruise lines and I was afraid that I would have to find old card with strip. SuiteRose Posted November 11, 2014 #11 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Actually, Norwegian's fleet of ships is the youngest in the industry, so I believe you'll find them well on their way into the 21st century
