When are the formal nights AKL to SYD Solstice

Hi,

 

I'm travelling the AKL to SYD Celebrity Solstice itinerary. in Jan 2015. Its 14 nights and I was trying to plan my dining choices around the formal nights. If anyone has done the itinerary and could let me know what nights they were that would be terrific!

Did this cruise Jan this year. There were 3 formal nights. From memory the first was on the 4th night (Sea day between Tauranga and Wellington), then another on the 8th night (after cruising the sounds), then another on the sea day between Hobart and Melbourne (12th Night). Though of course these could change.

Formal night can change even on the same itinerary, however there are a few basic guidelines.

 

NEVER on night one or the last night night.

 

Usually on a sea day, that normally narrows it down enough.

 

On a 13 night cruise there will be three.

 

So the first sea day, the last sea day that is not the last night of the cruise and the sea day nearest the mid point between the two I just mentioned are most likely to be it.
