July 24th on Alaska Cruise...Smart Casual? Daytime?

I usually wear a cute little sun dress for smart casual evenings, I am a little scared in Alaska I will freeze. It is summer, even in Alaska...do people wear summer clothes on an Alaska cruise? Can I go ahead and wear my little cotton sundresses with a sweater for evening?

Daytime...summer weight crop pants and summer tops with a sweater or jacket be ok?

Hi Birdie, we leave on 7/16 for Alaska, and I will be wearing summer clothes in the evenings. I will be taking a light sweater if I get chilly. As for daytime, I will be taking pants and layers on top. Looks like temps can vary daily, so I would rather be over packed and ready for anything. Have a fun time, we will.

I have been in Alaska in August but it was a land vacation...very different than being on the water. Even the Baja can be cool in the summer on the water.
