Cruise Insurance

Morning All,

 

I have been looking at holiday insurance which includes cruise cover. On each of the policies I have looked at, all of them charge additionally for covering missed cruise connections ie; not getting back on the boat before it sets sail at each port. Surely this is the whole point of addinf cruise cover, or am I expecting too much?

 

Any advice or recommendations would be good.

yes, it's an extra which we do not take. We just need to know that the insurance covers cruises, not the extra cruise protection.

I nearly took out a policy a few years ago and only found out by chance that it didn't cover cruises, just before I paid, so it's always worth asking.
