Verizon eCertificates - Are they no longer available

Just went on-line and was going to purchase the eCertificte through Verizon. They are only showing eCards and Booking Certificates but not the eCertificate. Seem to remember the eCards were a use it or loose it but have been reading that people received the balance in either check or another eCard. Also read fine print stating the certificate had to be mailed to Carnival yet you could take and apply once onboard. Kinda contradicting information to me.

 

If I have OBC from the MasterCard points and put the eCard on the S&S account once onboard, which is used first and what happens to any credit that may be at the end of the cruise?

Buy The E gift card. Put the Card on your acct on the ship and on the last day withdraw the overage from the kiosk . That it's , Easy peasy:D
