Carnival Paradise need info

I am thinking about taking a short trip with my kids 9 and 13 and wife. We have never been on an older Carnival ship before. We have sailed the Freedom and Breeze.

 

I am trying to find info on what this ship has but it seems hard to find. Does this ship have two water slides and two pools? Also what is everyones thoughts on this ship? As far as places to eat what do they offer? Thank you so much!

I've sailed on the Paradise three times.

 

It is smaller and older than the Freedom and Breeze. No 2.0 upgrades. (No Guy's Burgers or Blue Iguana Cantina). No specialty restaurants. No steakhouse. Food choices outside of the Main dining room will be the Lido buffet, Mongolian Wok, Deli, Pizza.

 

It has one small, spiral water slide which empties into the main pool on midship Lido deck. There is a second small pool aft.

 

There are several good picture reviews of this ship here on CC. Check them out so that you will know what to expect.

 

The usual port stops for this ship (Cozumel and Grand Cayman) are very nice.

We've taken our boys on the Paradise twice and they've had fun both times but it's the only ship they've been on. It may feel like a let down for them compared to other ships. The Paradise does not have a Waterworks, just the older style slide in to the main pool.
