Free Casino Cruise, what ?

I am just curious as I am not really a gambler, but maybe a few bucks here and there. How do people end up getting a free cruise ? I presume that they have to spend quit a bit of $$ to get to that point. Thanks in advance for the info..

Yes the exact guidelines are a mystery...however to be assured of a free cruise offer one does have to be prepared to spend a significant amount of money. Now one can winn a couple of thou on your first hand and spend the rest of the cruise using house money..it has happened.

That's what I did. Won $12,000 and then played most of it back. I would not have hit that much if I had stopped at the first jackpot. Still came home ahead. My next cruise was a free offer plus $1000 in cash.

same as vegas time and money. 2-3 hours a day and $50 bets per hand is a good start to get an interior room

We got a free cabin offer last year and my wife only plays the penny slots and for small amounts. we had an extended balcony on the Legend for a total of $191.00. It's a mystery as to who gets these offers but I check our VIFP numbers almost every day. You never know when another offer will appear.

casino offers come to people who play in the casino, they do offers the same kind of deals sometimes to people who haven't sailed in a few years to get them to come back to Carnival just not as much and always on non-peak sailing months. I get offers every couple of months because of my play and my neice got the offer once they had not cruised in about 4 years. They dont play as much as I do and I still get offers and they haven't got another offer.

We have received this offer twice. We could not take the first one but are going on Splendor January 4th for free or should I say upgraded to a balcony room for $110.00 each for 7 day cruise. and we only gamble in the hundred of dollars over a week long cruise.:o

DW usually wagers around 2k per cruise and the best she gets is a $25 coupon for the casino. If they are giving away free insides to fill the ships why not just have a lottery with past cruisers? That way everyone has a chance.

2)if you hit a jackpot, tip!

3)during your cruise, stop by and say hello to the casino mgr., talk a bit!

 

Its not about loyalty, there's a club for that, its about gamblers!

A lottery to past cruisers, or players in the casino? Either way it won't happen, the free cruises aren't free, they're to fill the ships with players, and the ones who play the most will get offers first, then the rest!

Because you said your wife brings a bankroll of $2000 to gamble, I think if you follow my suggestions, you'll get some offers in the future!:D

My typical budget on a 7 day cruise is about $2000 for gambling. I play primarily video poker, but mix in some Quick Hits at $1.50 a spin. I usually get more than 5,000 points on each sailing. For this type of action, I get the premier cruise offers with 400-500 in casino cash, the normal cruise offers with 100-200 in casino cash, and received a comped cruise last year, and the most recent pack and play offer. I also sail NCL, and have their version of a "comp" cruise (a little more than the taxes/port fees CCL charges).

 

I don't know what games your wife plays, but that could figure in as well (table game rating vs card in machines) and for how long her sessions are. I usually gamble each night from 10:00 to until my daily budget is exhausted (some nights midnight, some nights I am one of the last guys in the casino at 4:00 am). I know that the systems include some of average bet, the expected house take on the games played, and the amount of time in the casino. Hope this helps!

My advise - don't book for a while. Yeah crazy, but that is how they reward me. When I don't book - they give me stuff. When I have stuff booked - it's crickets.

 

What I do is similar to this quote from above poster and I have 2 free casino cruises now (Dec and Feb ) and the pack n go $50 pp and $100 ocb from Cyber Monday (and pack n go we booked a New Years cruise) as well booked.

 

Anyone had any of these cruises ? There are cruises called elite - they don't pay tip fee, taxes, parking or anything. I had 1 once but didn't know it had a name. LOL

I don't have enough action to qualify for the Elite cruises. I actually have transitioned to NCL as their VP machines are better/more variety. I just grab CCL when super cheap, like this latest one...
