Carnival Liberty Vs Celebrity/princess Ships

We are considering doing a Mediterranean cruise in Sept. '06 on the new Liberty. We are concerned about the food, service, etc. on a Carnival trip. Our last one w/them was back many yrs. ago. We have been going on Princess and Celebrity.

 

Would like feedback from someone who has been on the aforementioned to give us a comparison. We think the food on Princess / Celebrity is very good for the class of ship they are. Help!!!

From what I gather, Liberty is a beautiful ship, and food has improved alot , and is better that on RCCL (at least) which IMHO was just OK (average to good).

I think I got enough good responces to get me excited!

 

Also you have to take into account that European cruise is usually very different from Caribbean, very different PAX, activities etc.
