berryhillmom Posted December 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2014 A couple months ago while reading a review on cruise critic someone mentioned an app that they had on their phone that allowed them to text their children onboard when trying to meet up with each other. I didn't write down the name of the app and of I have forgot! I think you pay like a 2.00 charge for the app and then the texting is free. Anyone have any ideas? MagicMike Posted December 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Norwegian has the iConcierge app, cost $7,95 per phone that allows you to text between phones with the app on board without additional charge. As far as I know, the only line to offer this at this time. Any other app that is commercially available would require you to use internet minutes to do anything. paul929207 Posted December 8, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Princess has begun offering a similar app on their ships. They have it on a few and will roll it our to all over the next 12 months. I have not heard mention of a fee for the app on Princess
