Baja mini suite on coral

There is a nice overhang from the balconies above you. Of course the position of the Sun has much to do with how much shade you will have. But I have had a mini on the Port side of Baja Deck twice on a Panama Canal full transit and found it to be quite comfortable.

Of course you say you were "offered B223" but you didn't say what you would be changing from; it would help to know what the choices were.

Here is a link to a helpful website which will tell you whether a specific cabin on the Coral (or Island) princess has a covered, half covered or completely exposed balcony. It appears as though B223 is completely covered.

You say you "have been offered" - does that mean you were a guarantee and have now been allocated - or something else?

I ask because that sailing has been showing as fully booked for anything above and including balcony, and we have a balcony guarantee and are anxious to know when we might find out our cabin.

We are sailing FL to LA. We have been on wait list for mini suite, we have booked guarantee balcony cabin. We want some shade which I know the mini suites on Dolphin don't have but want to know if this one will be ok. Thanks for any help

Are you going LA to FL or FL to LA? We had a mini-suite going FL to LA on the Starboard side and it was perfect. We had friends on the Port side and they had a hard time using their balcony because of the heat. Just something to consider.

Which cabin and/or deck were you on? We are going to be in cabin D315 for the April FLL to LA cruise. We are aware that the balcony is uncovered and are bringing umbrellas which clip on to chairs, tables, suitcases etc, in case it is too sunny. Any other suggestions?
