Wedding in Port

Need to have contingency plans just in case your ship cannot make it into port.

The current Carnival Miracle cruise to Hawaii had to rearrange several of it's ports due sailing at slower speeds because of the storms off of the West Coast.

Quoted from Mom's Carnival Funville thread---

"Today at 4, Captain announced that due to slower speed, some port times have changed.

Instead of Maui tomorrow, we are doing Hilo from 3-8. Maui is now on Sunday. Kona on Monday from 7-3. Ensenada is now from 8-11. Obviously won't be getting off ship there. Kauai & Honolulu haven't changed."

Most of the time this is one of the things that Carnival or the wedding planner of your choice discusses with you. There are always chances of a hitch. This is also the reason many get legally married before they leave home, well that and the residency requirements in many Caribbean ports.
