Jeans (a quickie!)

does it really matter what others wear? come on. enjoy life. laugh. don't sweat the small stuff. Live life LIKE YOU WERE DYING!

Which would mean wearing all my fine clothes. Yes it does matter what other people wear – I’d like to think that people respect me the way I respect them.

Enough with what other people wear and just go and enjoy you cruise

My cruise is much more enjoyable when people wear what they are supposed to wear and respect others and the atmosphere those on board are trying to provide. Please see the Jeans sticky at the top of the Princess forum. Those wearing jeans are getting away with it. I suppose we should applaud them because they’re able to?

This was our first Princess Cruise (we are elite with Celebrity) so I was very curious after reading these boards about the jeans policy. (I won't get into whether they should or should not be worn- but I didn't bring any pairs on my cruise as I enjoy dressing for dinner- for those who might ask).

 

After reading all the posts here I did look and see if I saw what others had mentioned. I noticed at lunch (ate in the coral) and at dinner (ate in the palm) that the sign said no shorts but made no mention of no jeans (nor did I see anything in the patter about jeans or torn jeans).

 

I will say that many people were very nicely dressed on the first formal night. But DH noticed the second night much fewer people dressed. I did not see anyone on formal nights in the dining room in jeans. Although I did see jeans on casual nights.
