Rock of Ages - Breakaway

Sorry if this is a duplicate post. Doesn't seem like my first one posted for some reason :(

My Son and I just got back from the Breakaway yesterday. Had a great time! I saw many posts about Rock of Ages show being cancelled, etc. Wanted to give you my first hand info. I just happened to be standing next to Rock of Ages cast member Mike aka "Stacee Jaxx" in the Atrium one day and talked with him for a while. He is such a cutie and so sweet. Yes I instantly "fell in love" with him :) I believe he said that he would have some time off for Christmas but will be doing the show thru March 2015. I was onboard with my 15 old Son (who looks 20) and going to Rock of Ages was the only thing he would do with me as he spent all waking hours with friends from Enterouge Club. As far as appropriateness, except for the lama one second part at the end of the show (at the very top right corner of the stage and could easily be missed as so much was going on) everything else was about the same as an R rated movie these days. Since my "child" is mature and there was no nudity I thought it was ok to take him. The show is excellent and they are all so talented. You have to see it. Hope this answers all posts about Rock of Ages.

Too funny about talking to him while he was in costume. I wouldn't have been able to go near him while he was dressed like that :) I went to an entertainment Q&A session and was standing to the side in the Atrium and he just happened to be standing next to me. He was in jeans, sweat shirt, baseball hat and glasses and I thought it may be him and it was. I received a survey about my cruise experience and I "suggested" that they have a raffle to win a dinner with a cast/crew member to hear about their experiences working on a ship and NCL. I thought that would be fun as I really enjoyed talking with him. Said that if they decide to implement that program I will rebook immediately ;)

NCL changed the performance days of the show after they allowed people to schedule it at the 90 day mark for a couple of the 12 day BA cruises. They emailed people that their ressie was cancelled and to reschedule. But, as typical, IT had not set up the system to reschedule entertainment and the auto message you got when trying that was along the lines of (paraphrasing) show is unavailable. Lot's of confusion at the time, but he show itself was never cancelled.
