mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #26 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Muster drill is my least favorite but I always make new friends during the drill! Another great review with awesome pictures! Love it, Keep it coming!! ~ Stacy Thanks Stacy! I'm trying hard to keep posting. I might have to break for a few days, I run wireless stores so this is our final push before the holiday. But I'll for sure finish on Christmas day. Too far to go home... mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #27 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Enchantment is one of my favorite ships :). Thanks for the great review! Me too! I'm starting to call her and the crew my family. I am so happy on this ship, and it makes all those long hours worth while. 19 days...
mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #28 Share Posted December 22, 2014 After leaving the pool deck I made a few quite pit stops, as I was in the mood to take pictures. I stopped in the theater to take a few. I don't know why or how this happen, but I stopped going to shows a few cruises back. I also don't look at the cruise compass anymore, so no idea when the shows are, but she is pretty! Yes I'm on the stage!
Rare Familygoboston Posted December 22, 2014 #29 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Looks great! I do really like the top side of Enchantment (post stretch) for one of the older ships. This park cafe roast beef/pork issue is interesting! This won't sit well with my meat eating family members  Great photos as always! :D
mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #30 Share Posted December 22, 2014 As I was leaving I ran across the Schooner Bar. I will say this place was very empty, but I'm pretty sure everyone was getting ready. This is one of my favorite schooner bar's in the fleet, because of all the windows. Don't get this anymore on the larger ship. I actually recall seeing a port hole on Navigator and no windows on Oasis.
mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #31 Share Posted December 22, 2014 (edited) I really enjoy the Enchantment because you don't have to think about all the options for the evening. I know I'm going down to the R Bar to listen to great live music and cocktail hour. Edited December 22, 2014 by mpoole3
mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #32 Share Posted December 22, 2014 (edited) After spending an hour down at the R Bar I wanted to go see my good friend in the DL - Carlton. I saw the CL open, so I jumped in to take pictures! And yes you see shorts in there. I will never understand this, cocktail hour in shorts... I only have 117 C & A points so I can't go in there yet, but I should be ready by 2016. DL - Pretty sure I had three plates! Ander026 Posted December 22, 2014 #34 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Great review of another great cruise on the Enchantment. The Enchantment is also one of my favorite ships. I plan on going on the Enchantment at least 2-3 times in the 2015 year, to go along with my 10 days on the Serenade. Thanks for the pics of the CL. If everything goes right I will be Diamond Plus as well by the end of 2015.
Ander026 Posted December 22, 2014 #35 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Hi CC friends! Jan: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1980397 June: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2059380 Oct: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2112626 I must say each one gets better, so maybe start bottom up! What a great shot of the Enchantment, got me inspired as I just booked a Jan 19th cruise 4 day for less than $100 a day. This will be my 4th time on the Enchantment. The 5th time will be in late March after the PGA event in Orlando.

Aussie here, heading back to the states in February for my 3rd royal cruise, 3 nights on Enchantment. 40th birthday splurge and booked a grand suite. Can't wait! Your review makes me more and more excited for it. Cheers!!
mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #38 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Almost time for my favorite part, dinner! I warn you I took a few too many pictures at dinner and I think I scared my table mates for all the pictures. I tried to explain why, but I'm not sure they understood. I took the top deck, and as you can tell it was empty.
mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #39 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Dinner Night 1 - I had a table for ten and it was just one other couple and I. So might find this awkward, but I really enjoyed it. They claimed they adopted me. Even in the evenings the photo guy would ask me to stand up and get behind them for pictures, we always laughed at this.
mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #40 Share Posted December 22, 2014 My Fair Lady ~ How Classic is she. I love meat if you can't tell from all the pictures, but I ordered the prime rib. This comes two ways, and you all know how I like mine. The waiter said he would find me a special cut, and boy did he. The service was outstanding, but we were right beside the captains table. mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #41 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Dinner took almost two hours, but our waiter said, "if you want me to speed up - tell me, if you want me to slow down - tell me" So I thought that was great, but we were enjoying ourselves and in no rush. After dinner I jumped over the R Bar to see what was going on. This is the central location and I almost always find myself here. Yes the service is usually a bit slow here, but that's okay they make the best drinks and well worth the wait.
mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #42 Share Posted December 22, 2014 (edited) Shortly after a cocktail the 70's street party started, so I stuck around. This is always great fun, and I enjoyed more than usual, but that could have been the cocktail? Is anyone else ready for them to switch this to 80's Street Party? I don't know half the songs... But that's okay. The man you see in the cowboy hat is newly promoted Thomas DeCell from Texas, can you tell? I actually thought he did great and I saw him everywhere. He also hosted the Quest the last night, stay tuned for that. Edited December 22, 2014 by mpoole3
mpoole3 Posted December 22, 2014 Author #43 Share Posted December 22, 2014 What a day I've had, started at with breakfast in Daytona to 70's street party at 11pm. Boy was I pooped at this point, I decided to call it a night. I went back to my cabin and this was on my door? I kept telling myself, maybe I have the wrong room, but it was my cabin. I'll also note it was gone in the morning. Up next: Day 2 in Nassau, Bahamas.

the_lovely_voyage Posted December 22, 2014 #48 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Super enjoying your review so far and your pictures are phenomenal! Quick question, do you have any idea if the beautiful Christmas decorations will still be up on the January 5-9th sailing? I know it's a week and a half after Christmas is over but it looks so pretty and festive!

Why yes I'll be doing a review on the Freedom this summer & Oasis this spring. However, I'm thinking about taking a break on my next Enchantment cruise, they are actually alot of work. I'll try and update more tonight - I'm about to record a royal podcast for my friends blog site. Coco Cay vs Labadee.

I know it's a week and a half after Christmas is over but it looks so pretty and festive! I don't know and also hope they are still up for Jan 9th sailing, since I'm going back. My guess is they all come down after New Years Sailing.
