Questions about Falmouth

Never been to Jamaica and we are going during spring break. We are doing a Carnival excursion and here are my questions:

 

1. If we are on a Carnival excursion do they keep pushy vendors from hassling you?

 

2. We are going to Rose Hall Great House and shopping...if any of you have done this excursion do they take you shopping at the Rose Hall Shoppes or other places (local) as well?

 

3. Is there a visible police presence?
