Will Christmas decorations still be up next week?

We leave Sunday on Breakaway and I'm wondering if the holiday decorations will still be up. Fingers crossed for yes!

I would guess that they will keep them up through New Years Day, but I will forewarn you that they really aren't that impressive. There are like 3 or 4 small trees and some garland on deck 7. I was on the Breakaway for Thanksgiving week when they put them up and I thought that maybe that was just a start, but I was on again last week, and that was it. I'm not complaining. It didn't really impact my experience in anyway.

I agree; the decorations were there but were non-obtrusive. I actually appreciated that when I was aboard recently since I don't celebrate Christmas.

We just got off today and they were still up. Most impressive is probably gingerbread houses. Ironically, I was really hoping there WOULD be decorations, but once I got on, they just didn't "fit". I kind of forgot all about Christmas once I was in the Caribbean, having decorations didn't impact my experience one way or another, surprisingly to me.

I have sailed on many New Years Eve sailings.

It was usual to see the decorations coming down at the end of these sailings. Sailings post New Years Eve usually do not have the holiday decorations.

Sorry to say that most come down New Years Day! I'm sure you have a great cruise even without the decorations. NCL doesn't do that many. A tree here and there and a wreath here and there. That's it. We were on 12/1 sailing.
