Just FYI for those affected.

Ships sailing from Port Everglades:

* UPDATE: Empress of the Seas now on a five-night sailing, will not return to Port Everglades on Thursday, August 25, as originally scheduled. Because Port Everglades will be closed to ship traffic at 8 p.m. Wednesday evening in preparation for the storm, the ship will now conclude its current sailing at the Port of Tampa on Thursday. Guests on this sailing will be transported by bus from Tampa to Port Everglades and the Tampa airport for their return trips home. All guests booked on Thursday’s sailing will be transported by bus from Port Everglades to the Port of Tampa. It is critical that guests booked on Thursday's sailing not drive their vehicles to Tampa, since the ship will be returning to Port Everglades on Monday, August 29, as originally scheduled. Royal Caribbean is pleased that we will be able to offer a full four-night cruise experience, despite adverse weather conditions. However, this change in port of departure also means that Empress of the Seas will not be able to make her originally scheduled port of call at Key West, Florida, on Friday. Instead, she will spend the day at sea on Friday, arrive early into Cozumel, Mexico, at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday, depart Cozumel as scheduled at 10 p.m. Saturday evening, spend the day at sea Sunday and return to Port Everglades Monday morning.

Ships sailing from the Port of Miami:

* UPDATE: Majesty of the Seas now on a four-night sailing originally scheduled to conclude on Friday, August 26, will delay its return to the Port of Miami by one day to avoid the storm. The ship will spend the day at sea on Friday and arrive in Miami on Saturday, August 27. Majesty of the Seas’ upcoming three-night sailing, originally scheduled to depart on Friday, will now be shortened to a two-night sailing. Because this sailing will be shortened, guests will have the option to sail or cancel and receive a 50 percent refund. This shortened cruise will begin on Saturday and include a port of call in Nassau, Bahamas, on Sunday, before returning to the Port of Miami on Monday, August 29. Guests who opt to sail will receive an onboard credit of $100 per stateroom.

* UPDATE: Navigator of the Seas is still expected to arrive at the Port of Miami on Saturday, August 27, and depart on its next sailing at 5 p.m. that day. However, guests booked on that sailing should continue to monitor this web site for any itinerary changes.

At this time, no other Royal Caribbean International ships are being adversely affected by tropical weather.
