Hyatt House vs Double Tree in San Juan

I'm looking at these 2 hotels for 1 night before cruise on 4/12/15. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Which would be closer to shopping and restaurants.

The Double Tree is located just off the Condado tourist area, which makes it closer to shopping and dining. The Hyatt House is located in the Convention Center District, an area still under development. They Hyatt, however, is nominally closer to Old San Juan than the Double Tree and is very near the Pan Am pier, where Royal Caribbean and Celebrity embark from.

Be aware that a few Hyatt House hotels have popped up around the island recently. Make sure you pick the right one - at the Convention Center District - if you want to be near the action. If not you will end up in another city all together.
