I hear the Breeze is the cream of the crop!! I look forward to your review. If my friends keeps winning free cruises from her gambling we may end up driving from North Louisiana to Florida to stay with her cousin and have her drop us at the cruise terminal. Love your reviews.

I leave Sunday once again on the Dream. My favorite ship :)

I wish I could win a free cruise. I've never even been called for an upgrade. I guess I'm not one of the lucky ones.

Enjoy your cruise this weekend. Our friends are getting off....hopefully they left enough booze for ya

How much do you need to spend at the casino to get a free cruise?

OK now back to our regularly scheduled programming :p It was now pouring but again we didn't really mind too much. I had went over to put all of our clothes and belongings up under a hut so that nothing would get wet. And so it was now time for some more fun.

As I was walking back to my drink I noticed that the Jaguar was now out swimming. Can't say that you would say that everyday

For $30.00 pp you could swim with the Jaguar. No one in our group chose to do this but there were quite a few people doing it

OMG I totally want to do this! I've never been to Roatan and looking at a cruise next year with a stop there. Little French Key is definitely where I'd come to spend the day and I will definitely swim with the jaguar. :D

Another great review Brianna! I can't believe I'm just finishing it. You will LOVE the Breeze next month. Also when you go back to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, be sure to look for the floats of the Mystic Krewe of NYX. A good friend of mine is in their krewe and she will be in the parade. They throw hand decorated purses. Be sure to let me know if you catch one. Here's their route. Have fun! :)

I loved your review! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your trip with us.

You have renewed my interest in doing the Western Caribbean and I am now looking at dates. I haven't done a Western cruise since 2011 but I need to do the manatee/dolphin/sea lion thing at Chakanaab in Cozumel and Little French Key at Roatan.

I didn't know anything about Little French Key and swimming with the jaguar will make my day!

Oh Kim you will totally love Little French Key. It is amazing and the people are so friendly. I will definitely be back again. And swimming with the jaguar looked fun. I wish now that I would have done it but it was raining at that point and we were getting ready to leave. So that is definitely on my list for next time.

I leave for New Orleans next Tuesday. I am so excited to be back into favorite city. It'll feel weird not going for a cruise. I'll check our parade list to see if that is one of the parades that we are going to.

Once I get home from New Orleans I will only have 16 days until I leave for Miami and my cruise on the Breeze. I can't wait to cruise on the Breeze. We are in a Spa Balcony. Never had a spa balcony before so that'll be a nice treat

Well thank you for readings review. I'm not sure why but it seems like my last 5-6 cruises have been on the Western side. I want to get back to St. Thomas and St. Maarten some time soon.

I have a review on here that is from a cruise on the Carnival Imagination and Carnival Sunshine (it is a back to back photo review). I have photos in that review from our excursion swimming with the manatees at Chankanaab Park in Cozumel. I'll try to post the link tomorrow for ya so you can check it out.

Loved your review! I will be going on the Dream a week from this Sunday and I can't wait. I was wondering if you or your friends had any idea if we should make dinner reservations for NOLA ahead of time since it will be Mardi Gras?

Thanks,

Kristen

A lot of places won't take reservations during Mardi Gras festivities. Your best bet is to go for an early dinner by 5:00 (at the latest). My recommendation for dinner would be to go to Port of Call but I am quite partial to that place. I love their burgers

Yes it is. It is by far the best burger that I have ever eaten. You're going on the Norwegian Dawn in a couple weeks go there for lunch after your cruise. Just show him my pics and let my pics do the convincing for ya....haha.

And thank you for reading my reviews :)

We will be on the Dream in late June, and I wanted to find a burger/steak joint near our hotel in the French Quarter. I looked up Port of Call which we could probably walk to. The photos look like there are no individual tables to eat at though? It looked like it was just one long big bar?

No there are individual tables. In fact there are two sections...one near the bar area and then a back room with some bigger tables. We have sat in both sections on previous visits and the tables in the back room are better because it is quieter back there

  • 2 weeks later...
That Twilight zone drink in your photo by the pool, has become my new favorite Carnival drink:D I had two, up on the serenity deck on Freedom in November, and after the second one, I WAS in the twilight zone lol:)

What is in the Twilight Zone drink?

I dont remember exactly:o It did have some coconut taste to it, and either blue curacao liqueur or melon liqueur for the blue/green effect. All I can say is that it was wayyyyy tooo good, and two of them will definitely put you into the twilight zone:D

I want one now:(

Did you have any problem with the AC? We have a block of cabins around cabin 8269 leaving on Feb 15 and there lots of complaints about the AC. I hope they have it fixed!

Pizzaman...........please let us know how your air conditioning was. Cruising in February, you probably won't have a problem.......but, we cruise in July and I just dread it if we don't have adequate air in the cabins.

Brianna, loved your review.

As far as your Breeze cruise is concerned, prepare to be AMAZED!!!

The Red Frog Pub is a great place to have a pre-dinner cocktail and they have live entertainment in the evening. Bonsai Sushi was a big hit with my family. There are so many comfortable seating areas on the open decks, the ropes course was great fun. The décor in the Lido buffet area is tropical and inviting.

I think you will love the Breeze.
