VOS - elevator rooms noisy?

Hello, I just saw that my room assignment is directly across from an elevator on the 8th deck on the VOS. Does anyone know if that would be a noisy location - either becuase of the elevator itself making noise or people standing waiting for the elevator and talking? We live in an apartment building and really don't want to deal with the hassle of noise on our vacation!

No, there is a lobby, you are technically not right outside the elevators.

I wasin 7332...pretty close to the elevators. No problem at all. And it's convenient.

We were in 7310. No noise at all.

We have been very close to elevator shafts on four of our seven cruises and noise has NEVER been a problem on any of the ships. It is actually wonderful being within a few steps of the elevators from the cabin, that way you don't have much walking to do.
