  1. these threads....I cannot believe how much others shame another for not prescribing to their tipping beliefs time and time again. I honestly dont care what you tip on land or onboard. Its simply absurd.
  2. here ya go...right from the horses mouth: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/food-drink-onboard-policy
  3. we had it for the oasis early in august...asked for beds separate in one cabin and it wasn't done. So its probably hit or miss on actually doing anything and up to that particular stateroom attendant and their schedules or desire to do in advance.
  4. thanks for educating me on when hurricane season, i was completely unaware of the timeline (sarcasm). I still stand by my original comment. Dont cruise in those months of risk tolerance isnt there. All of this goes along with taking this risk of booking a Caribbean cruise during June thru Nov.
  5. I think anyone that books a cruise during hurricane season needs to always take into account the very real possibility of changes like this happening and plan accordingly. If your "normal" life cant accommodate these types of unknowns, then booking during hurricane season is not for them. We cruise during hurricane season frequently, i am fully prepared for any and all changes...its the risk of booking during this time of year.
  6. i noticed that i cant book for lunch using the app, but if i log into the website i can see them and book.
  7. and the funnel cake place is right behind it!
  8. agree, just got home yesterday from Oasis and have a nice rash from the sea lice on both forearms and legs.
  9. I currently have a nice outbreak on both forearms and legs from the ocean there. Its itchy, but tolerable. But none the less gross.
  10. there are free PDF editors available for download...or if you have Adobe Acrobat you can edit and type your name.
  11. Comments like this are flipping ignorant. I never ever understand anyone's need to make these comments. 😒 The "good luck finding your room" is over the top.
  12. the $600 in points = Visa Refundable OBC ...this is what you are getting. EdandMary are suggesting you can also go to Guest services and cash out this $600 if you wish and now you can do what you want with the $$...play in the casino, etc. But I know its not your question originally, but there are credit cards that provide a lot better rewards then the Royal Visa card. I believe that the reward is basically equal to 1% of your purchases and 2% on Royal charges. Citi cash card is 2% (1% for purchases and 1% on payments)...admittedly this is even a somewhat lousy reward card, but certainly better then the Royal Visa. Just food for thought.
  13. and if you dont agree with the charges dispute with your credit card if you used that as your form of payment. another thought, did you check your spam email to see if it got filtered there? You alsodo the following: Folio available by request atroyalguestrelations@rccl.comor call 800-256-6649.
  14. i was just at cococay on Friday 3/3...the lifeguard specifically told a woman carrying a small float like you said she couldnt bring it in the pool. i did however see babies floating in baby style inflateable floats with no problem from lifeguards.
  15. lol, i LOL, i suppose I should say my 18 year old kids used them for red bulls...no one needs a 6 year old hopped up on red bull. 🙂
  16. yes they can got a mocktail like that...my kids used them for red bulls and virgin drinks too.
  17. you can literally see the port from the airport (assuming you are cruising out of Port Everglades)....Uber/Lyft is super easy and quick with no need to prearrange for pickup...this is my favorite port and airport to leave from for sole proximity each is to each other.
  18. If this is the one that also included a stop at the Curacao distillery and so on it was a large bus that was completely full. We were just on this tour in Sept when we were on the Allure. It was a good tour though and we do not usually do ship sponsored excursions, but we thought it was good.
  19. last week for allure in port everglades we were not asked for them either.
  20. We were just in Aruba last week...rented a UTV from Viator.com (they have a app too) and the company was Jeans UTV's. We had it for a full 8 hrs and were able to go on our own anywhere on the island, we went from one end to the other, stopped at many beaches on the way and also went off roading. It was a blast and like others said Aruba is very hard to get lost on.
