It was a pleasure to meet you all on the voyage! Thanks to Kevin for the information on Masoplomas! It was an amazing experience to ride the camels. It was nice to meet all the rest of you at the Dorothy gathering! What a large and diverse group this trip!

My pleasure Jake, I am pleased you enjoyed it. You have arrived home with a cold, I have arrived home with very high blood pressure. Yesterday shortly after getting out of bed I blacked out, rolled forward off the bed and landed forehead first on the ceramic floor. I have a very attractive lump on my hairline now and an appointment with the doctor on Monday:(. I have never suffered from high blood pressure, always the opposite. Too much eating and partying until gone 2AM I think.

 

Look after yourself, and hopefully our paths will cross again in the future. Best wishes to the ladies too.

Thanks! Blood pressure slowly coming down. Lump on head also going down. Prices of my next cruise going up! 😟

Oh no Kevin! Take care of yourself! I have had quite a busy weekend myself and just now getting back on here. I hope you mend. A lot of the food was high in sodium so if you didn't watch it, plus drinking it would shoot your blood pressure sky high. I had to watch what I was doing per MD orders prior to sailing and I did pretty well and fairly compliant except White Hot Party night. I will check out the photos when I get in. You and I cruise so much I think our paths will likely cross again! :)

The Epic looked amazing, especially decked out for Christmas. They did a great job with the decorations. Her new feel was everywhere. They did a great job with her in dry dock. Looks like a completely new ship, minus a burst pipe in the studios on Deck 12 but that can happen anywhere at anytime if the pressure is right. They fixed it and that was that. Otherwise, the public areas are great. I didn't notice any smoke wafting from the casino so they did a good job getting that cleaned up too.

 

Food is subjective. I didn't find it good nor bad but just ok. Lots of fat on the meats served in the MDR so the quality they buy has definitely gone down. It takes a little more work to make it healthy but it's ok. Helps with digestion eating slower! :rolleyes: Towards the end of the voyage the seafood was not to be trusted. Scallops one night tasted fishy in LeBistro. That wasn't good. Otherwise, the food was good.
