ducklite Posted August 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2005 Anyone booked on a flight into FLL for the next 48 hours or so should contact their carrier. Most flights inbound have already been cancelled, and rumour has it that they are moving up outbound times to get the planes out asap. You have to wait until the FAA clears the airport to open which means the winds have to die down for the planes to come back in. My guess is the planes will start coming back in tomorrow night or Saturday morning.
TrentS Posted August 26, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2005 They say they're going to try to open FLL at 9am tomorrow, but even if they do manage to open that early it's going to take some time for the airlines to get their flight schedules back to normal. There may be a few flights tomorrow, but I would think Saturday would be a better bet.
