Happy Hour?

Going on a 10 day cruise on the Pearl in March. The last 10+ day cruise I went on was on the smaller ship Sun, in the sports bar everyday they had happy hour. It was a buy one get one. I was able to get a 12 pack of beer for the price of 5 since it was buy a bucket of 5 and get the 6th free then with the buy one get one hour doubled it. Is this still true or do they not do happy hour on the larger ships?

Kind of hit or miss in my experience. 2013 cruise on the Gem did but not this past Nov 2014. I think it was Malting's that had it in 2013. I did look for it on the Freestyle Daily but didn't see it. Of course, I may have totally missed it, too!

Most 2-for-1 specials went away in 2013 when the Ultimate Beverage Package was launched. Haven't seen for example the 2-for-1 martinis since.

This is our first cruise and we are a little freaked by all the extra expenses. Are there any booze tips for the Sky to share? What are our best bets for beer and wine? A happy hour would be good to know about. Cheers!

we were on the Jade this past October -November and had BOGO on certain drinks before dinner . This did not apply to ALL drinks, just a select few on a card added to the menu.

We were on the Pearl in Feb 2013. They had 2 for 1s in the Star Bar from 4pm to 6pm.... Not sure if still doing...
