theduffys Posted August 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2005 Anyone stay in this one, or it's opposite 7080? Deck plan looks like the veranda is slightly bigger because of the Hull deviation. Am I right or just into wishful thinking?
CaliforniaDreamin Posted August 26, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2005 It's a 2B with bigger balcony due to angle of deck.
theduffys Posted August 26, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted August 26, 2005 Thanks John. That's exciting. Don't suppose anyone has a pic of the balcony they would like to share?

LMKohler Posted August 26, 2005 #6 Share Posted August 26, 2005 I stayed in 7080 this year and it is a very nice cabin. The angle of the balcony allows for a chair, table and lounge chair. Be sure and ask your steward for the lounge chair when you first meet with him/her. I wish I could get that cabin again next on our cruise to Hawaii but it was already taken  Lucy
theduffys Posted August 26, 2005 Author #7 Share Posted August 26, 2005 THANK YOU JOHN!! It does look like we snagged a good deal--by listening to our TA. LM-I will be sure to ask for that lounge chair. Thanks for the advice.
dileep Posted August 26, 2005 #8 Share Posted August 26, 2005 we were in 6048 on the Infinity and 8046 on the Constellation and loved it. They ahd the lounge chair and 2 regular chairs on the balcony already. Enjoy!
oldsilverfox Posted August 27, 2005 #9 Share Posted August 27, 2005 We were next door forward to this cabin on the Summit. It does have a slightly larger triangular balcony BUT you do lose the view forward because you only have the apex of the triangle to lean out to see around next doors screen. I'm sorry to be a party pooper but if you want a view forward, don't book it Just my two pennyworth.

Yes, we had to lean forward at the apex of the triangle to get a full forward view.
theduffys Posted August 30, 2005 Author #11 Share Posted August 30, 2005 We listened to the warning re not being able to look forward from the balcony of 7049 and also were concerned about looking down on top of a lifeboat. After a bit of research on these boards, we found the pics of the 2c cabins forward that have the double depth balcony. We were able to switch over to # 6035. We are quite happy with this choice, especially since DH will have his shaded area and I can be out in the sun!! Now is there a down side we need to know about? Thanks to all of you cc posters who helped out this newbe.
