One of those car transporter ships that you see has run aground and is listing in the Solent in Southampton.

The ship was on its way to Germany when it ran on to the Brambles bank, in the entrance to Southampton Water, at about 21:30 GMT, the RNLI said.

The Aurora, Adonia and Balmoral are due in Southampton tomorrow.

It looks like Adonia, Aurora and Balmoral plus the other ships got past the run aground ship in the Southampton shipping channel.

local news is reporting that the roads at Calshot (nearest land to the grounded ship) are chaos with people going to look.

interested to see how they will right her and how quickly - will have to watch on the local news.
