Upcoming cruise on the Breeze and I have questions

Love. Match the elevator to elevator not deck by deck. Sometimes you gotta move the one deck up or down and match the elevators with stairs to get it right

I do that too, but I'm also seeing your room suggestions on 2395/2393 to be below the galley. There's no doubt about it. On deck 2, all rooms from the midship elevators to the aft elevators are below the galley. 2395/2393 are in this area. No need to even bother with dragging the decks to see this. And they are very close to a spot (further forward at 2375) that has reports of noises from above until 3am. To get below the dining room, we would need to go forward of those midship elevators: from 2361 or 2334 on forward. All coves & interiors aft of those are under the galley. And I also don't understand what you meant by "cut the galley in half". That has me boggled.

mayesq, I'm also seeing how the deck plans show your deck 6 interior room opening up to that interior hallway, not the same hallway as your balcony. I didn't know that those interiors opened up to that other hallway before. All the other interiors on the ship don't open that way, but that's what it appears to be for yours. You may not be able to downgrade to a cove and a lower category interior on deck 2, so that option might be a moot point. You could look at possibly upgrading. Your current room is above the casino, which doesn't have any band playing there. The band plays way over at the oceans plaza in a different section of the floor, but sometimes a soloist plays in the casino, & there could be noise from the casino itself. I would want to move.

If you can downgrade to a cove & interior on deck 2, then I would do that, because coves are the best balconies on this ship. Definitely take 2318 & 2320. Both are available right now. Yes, the cove is a connecting room, which is a slight risk for noisy neighbors (which you would hear even if it weren't connecting), but I think it's well worth that tiny risk. These 2 rooms are undoubtedly below the dining room, which is the most perfect thing to have above you. Carpeted, then empty all night long.

If you cannot downgrade, then hopefully an upgrade won't cost you much extra, because I would definitely say to do that. 7390 & 7396 are available. Not right across the hall, but only 1 room down. Or, 8225/8227, which I would prefer over the deck 7 rooms, but they are in the forward part. 9227/9229 are also available, and those will also have rooms both above & below, which is good. Both the deck 8 & 9 options are connecting rooms with the balcony, the deck 7 option is not. The deck 8 & 9 options are directly across the hall from each other.

I just want to thank everybody for responding. The rep that I spoke to yesterday was amazingly helpful. She put us in 6448 and 6450 which is way aft, but we are okay with that. She was originally trying to give us the rooms right in front of the atrium, but I told her that wouldn't work for us.

My original rep called me this morning and apologized for the mix up. I guess those interior rooms are pretty uncommon on Carnival ships.

Either way, I'm glad that we caught this in time and were able to be moved fairly easily. I'm really impressed with Carnival's level of customer service which makes me look forward to this cruise even more.

Now, if there is a sale of some sort which can get us into connecting balcony rooms, I'm going to jump on that. For now, we will settle with being across the hall.
