Rare crewsweeper Posted January 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2015 zydecocruiser's site usually has the latest bar lists but they can get out of date. Here's a link to the wines by the glass or bottle in the MDR (not the packages though). http://www.zydecocruiser.net/menus/new_11_11/MDR_Wine.jpg

CruisingNoob Posted January 7, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) I wonder how up to date that is? Carnival's site shows the wines listed to be delivered to your room in the "In room gifts & shopping" tab. Bringonthesun01 Posted January 7, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 7, 2015 From looking over the lists, the deluxe and premium look pretty accurate to my last two sailings. The bottom 4 on the deluxe and the bottom 5 on the premium have not changed. We don't drink white so I normally don't pay attention to the top half, so I cannot help on those. As for the basic, I do not recall seeing so many Barefoots on the last cruise, but I could be wrong.
d&a Delaware Posted January 7, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 7, 2015 How and when can one purchase one of these wine packages? In advance, before boarding? On board? Like CruisingNoob, on the website I have only seen the wines offered through the gift section. I have not yet found this wine package offering. Bringonthesun01 Posted January 7, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 7, 2015 When you board they usually have a table set up on the lido deck and one in the casino. They will have all the wines listed for each package and you have to charge it to your S&S card. They give you little vouchers that you give to the dinning staff and then they bring you your bottle. You get 5 bottles of wine I believe the packages range from $100 to $175, but don't quote me on that.

Do you know if it's cheaper to purchase before the cruise or if it matters if you wait until you've boarded?

Bringonthesun01 Posted January 7, 2015 #13 Share Posted January 7, 2015 As far as I know you can ONLY purchase on board. You can see what wine they have in the above mentioned section and order a bottle at a time there, but I personally would not do that. If I remember correctly the deluxe was $150 plus tax. We sail on Jan 31 if there are many changes to the list above I can respond when I am back.
