Closest Water Taxi to Port Everglades

we are doing a B2B and have the day in Fort Lauderdale - we were thinking of spending it enjoying the water taxi ride then stopping for lunch somewhere - can you tell me where the closest water taxi stop is and can we walk there from the ship or do we have to take a cab. Thanks for the help

The closest stop (#5) is under the 17th Street Bridge next to the Hilton Marina.

Stop 5/A – Hilton Marina/ Convention Center

1881 Southeast 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale 33311

 

 

Stop 5 on the main Fort Lauderdale Route is also Stop A on the Hollywood Route and is located directly under the 17th Street Bridge It is the nearest stop to the Cruise Port. City Parking, for up to 10 hours, is located adjacent to the dock. This one is one of Water Taxi’s most handicap accessible stops.

Important Note: Use Stop 5 to connect to the Hollywood Loop, starting at Stop A.

If you are at pier 2 or 4 it is walkable (they are located behind the convention center across 17th Street from the Hilton. Otherwise get a taxi since Port Everglades is not pedestrian friendly.
