Youth Program Ages

Well over the 5 cruises we have been on I have 2 differant outcomes for this question. In one case my daughter was 15 and her friend was 14. I went and spoke to the director for the older group and they allowed my daughters friend into the older group with the warning that if anything went wrong the younger one would be asked to leave the group. The second case just involved my daughter this past summer. She turned 18 a month before the cruise and therefore was to old for O2. I spoke to the director of all the programs and they would not allow her in the group. The director said that due to problems in the past that it was now Corporate policy to only allow children in the group that their age put them into.

My suggestion is to let the kids know that you will try to keep them together but can not promise it. When you get on the ship make sure you go to the first event or regestration for kids club and speak to the director to see if they will allow the younger child to move up. :)
