Fred C Posted August 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2005 I've heard good reports about both ships. Which is your favorite and why?

Can you wait til i get back and i'll let you know? i liked the Aruba itin, we are doing western on NOS. AOS was our 1st ever cruise so it will always be special. we hated san juan. crew on AOS was great and we didn't notice much wear & tear...they were always cleaning or sprucing..... as for NOS.....i'll have to get back to you! tasbm1 Posted August 27, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2005 I did AOS last week and NOS last October. Both ships are extremely similiar though I felt that overall the crew on AOS was a little more outgoing. The Adventure Ocean Club space on NOS was nicer because they removed the kiddy pool and gave the kids more space to play in. I do like the itinerary on AOS better. spbflseas Posted August 28, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2005 My wife and I have sailed both. We love the Adventure. The ship is fun. The itineraries are GREAT and the crew is excellent. If you can swing the airfare to San Juan, it will pay you back in dividends of having an excellent vacation.
TrentS Posted August 28, 2005 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Navigator has nicer balconies, and a Chops Steakhouse, Adventure doesn't... I love Chops... But I do love Adventure's itineraries out of San Juan... You won't go wrong with either ship though.
rjg41 Posted August 28, 2005 #7 Share Posted August 28, 2005 With kids, Navigator (any Voyager class) hands down. Adults, depends if the ice skating, rock wall, etc are your thing.

I thought that the AOS was also one of the voyager class ships...do I have that wrong?
bluehorizonlover123 Posted August 28, 2005 #9 Share Posted August 28, 2005 We loved the Navigator. A beautiful ship!!!!

Both AOS and NOS are Voyager class. I think I would choose based on route not on ship.
Jollyholiday Posted August 28, 2005 #11 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Our first cruise, a couple of weeks ago, was with Navigator (Western Caribbean) and we absolutely loved it. We have booked Adventurer next August because we want to go to St Lucia and Antigua. We have booked a package from England that enables us to spend a couple of days in New York and a couple in San Juan prior to the cruise and then on to Orlando after the cruise. rjg41 Posted August 28, 2005 #12 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Brain cramp. Navigator still the choice. As said earllier nicer balconies, larger Adventure Ocean area, nicer decor.
bluehorizonlover123 Posted August 28, 2005 #13 Share Posted August 28, 2005 If they are both the same class then they basically are spectacular ships. CHose for the best itinerary for you.
