Arriving two days prior to cruise. Need recommendations on hotel that would be convenient either by walking or short taxi ride to port and pikes market, etc. Not sure which hotels have free shuttles, etc. Hotel type of 4 stars plus preferred

We stayed at the Inn At The Market. Great place and great location. I don't know about shuttles. We arranged for pick up at the airport through the hotel with a limo and it was charged to the hotel room. When you walk out the door you are at Pikes Market! It's right there. We walked to the space needle and it's about a10 minute walk to the port. We took a cab though for less than 10.00. It's a pricier hotel but the location makes it worth it. It also has a little cafe around the corner open for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast there two days. There is a rooftop deck that is a perfect place to relax and watch the sunsets. Let me clarify, it's a ten minute walk to pier 66!

Downtown Seattle is quite small so a taxi to the popular tourist sights will only cost $10-$15. All the major hotels are represented as well as some nice boutique hotels .( Inn at the Market, Mayflower, Warwick)

Pier 66 is located downtown, but pier 91 is 5-6 miles north of town so a cab will run $15-$20. No need to specify a hotel with shuttle to the pier.

The airport is a 1/2 hr drive south of seattle, so a cab will run about $45.

on tripadvisor.com seattle forum on top right you can read top questions and there is a link to hotels with cruise packages. Its true that no downtown hotels will run a shuttle to the airport however a towncar is only $45 to downtown and a cab to pier is also under $20
