Bumper Cars Question

I took a photo of the rules and regulations sign when I was on the Quantum sailing from 12/12/14.

The minimum age to ride is 5 years. The minimum age to drive is 8 years old and more than 42 inches tall.

I did observe the staff asking ages of small children and they were measuring the height of the smaller ones.

I think the height requirement is due to the way the seat belt is set up. When you get lively group out there in the bumper cars, there are some STRONG bumps (crashes) going on. I know... I was doing the bumping... :D The seat belt definitely helped. If the belt did not fit a person correctly, they could be injured.
