Questions about Cucina del Capitano on Sunshine

It has never been offered on the second night on any of my past cruises.

 

You also haven't been on a ship with a steakhouse since May 2013. Things change.

Yes, you can even get a third entree to split like the pasta carbonara. The Short Rib entree and risotto ball (arancina?) appetizer are very good.

I highly recommend the lasagna for the free (included) lunch on Sunshine. That is phenomenal on Sunshine.

 

I did supper at Cucina on Magic, and would not pay to eat there again at supper.

So the other nights where they don't give a free bottle of wine is $15pp? Or do they give a free bottle every night now? Just asking, because we're thinking about trying the Steakhouse during our next cruise. Cucina too since we'll be on the Sunshine.

 

Steakhouse is $35 pp every night. Free bottle on first and second night.

 

Cucina del Capitano is free for lunch and $15 pp for dinner.

 

No free BOTTLE of wine in Cucina del Capitano.

 

As a convenience, from the brand ambassador himself:

 

"Our Steakhouses continue to grow in popularity and we are serving more guests there than ever before. As you know we serve a complimentary bottle of wine per cabin on the first night and now we extend the same to the first elegant night as well. This also now applies to the Cuccina del Capitano restaurants where on the first and second night we will also serve complimentary wine with dinner."

 

 

I would think it is a glass with dinner? I doubt it would be a whole bottle for a $15 meal.

 

I could be wrong. Anyone with first hand knowledge?
