To All the veteran Princess cruisers: Favorite Spa Service

Would like to know what people have tried and why... We will be on the Princess 10/28. Are services less costly on port days???

Yes, on port days the spa offer's many special rates while the ship is in port.

They have so many services it's difficult for me to say which I would give the best rating too.

For myself it's normally some type of massage. In private - I don't care for the one's on the beach as with people walking by it's disruptive for me.

You can use the Princess website to figure out the pricing difference between At Sea and Port day services. It wasn't much, less than $20 a service and I think closer to $10.

I got the hot stone massage and loved it. I also got the frappigini (sp?) for my scalp and did not like it.

Just off the Diamond Princess/Alaska. On a "port day special" received a lime and ginger body scrub (head to toe) and a back/neck massage (total about an hour) for $89 -- and it was wonderful. They even offered additional, similar specials on an additional day -- choice of up to three services (shorter lengths) for $89 including a facial. Enjoy!:)

I enjoy their pedicures but I think they're overpriced. DH loves the deep tissue massage.
