Inspiration questions

I just booked a 4 day Catalina/Ensenada cruise in April. I am looking for feedback on the Inspiration. Are the ocean view rooms a decent size? Are they fairly comfortable? What are the onboard activities like? It is an older ship but recently renovated, can anyone give me an idea of what to expect regarding the pools, adult serenity area or other outdoor seating?

Thank you for you help with these questions.

Yes, they are fairly large considering it 's an older ship.

Are they fairly comfortable?

Yes, very well laid out with lots of closet space and bathrooms are decent sized.

Pools are limited to the main pool in the middle of the ship. Serenity only has 2 hot tubs and there is plenty of outdoor seating. Being you're going in April, the pool will probably be cold, since they pump ocean water in it. I can only remember Labor Day that the pool was warm....probably cause they added the Cheers program.

Thank you for you help with these questions.

Activities are normal for Carnival. Come with the expectation of having fun and enjoy the ship. You're on vacation!

Just off her at the beginning of the month.

Crew is what we've come to expect from Carnival. Helpful and pleasant with a strong work ethic.

Only negative in the whole cruise-- Carnival has a new tender provider. The previous ones were smaller and loaded quickly. The new ones are the old Catalina Ferries. 400 and 200 pax. We had the misfortune of being first on the larger tender. Took us almost an hour to get onboard. The tender ride itself is only 10 minutes.

The only good thing is that these are handicap accessible.
