We have been offered this suite on Voyager and notice from the web site that it is opposite what looks like some stairs indicating it may be a crew doorway.

Often there is a lot of door slamming.Has anyone sailed voyager that may have been located in 660 who could help with their experience? 657 and 659 are also alternatives.

DW and I spent 21 days in 659 last Oct/Nov. and loved it. Convenient to both elevators and laundry but didn't hear any noise. Only vibration was at high speed and high winds and we felt the vibration much stronger in further aft sections. The tenders didn't interfere with the view (657 would have).

How did 657 interfere with the view? Really curious:)

The verandah of 657 is adjacent to the aft tenders which jut out from the ship. The panoramic view is cut off to the left for 657; not significant on 659's verandah.

DW loves to take IPad photos fro cabin's deck on sail-ins and often sail-outs.

If there is a choice. Then 659 or 660 ( is slightly further away from the tender).

Then 659 is port side but don't tell much for the view (where the best view is when you are docked is not to tell). Is more the journey you make if it is landside or sunside or both.

Not sure that one can call the "starboard" side to be the "landside" or the port side to be the "sunside" as they differ greatly depending upon the port. In all of our Regent sailings, we have not stayed in a suite that had a blocked (or semi-blocked view). Our only concern is what is above us (i.e. a restaurant or the pool deck). This was a lesson that we learned from our TA many years ago. Having the pool deck above us was one of our least favorite cruises.
