Duck Duck Cruise Posted January 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2015 I searched the threads and could not find the answer. I read a thread that said The Sapphire has hot water kettles in each stateroom. Does anyone know for sure if The Diamond has hot water kettles in the staterooms. We have an inside cabin. Thanks for you time!
Lovetocruiseprincess Posted January 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2015 No kettles in the rooms, but I do recall one of the ships having them when doing an Orient cruise a while back.

Rare Kinkacruiser Posted January 26, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Perhaps they are stored away when cruising in Australia/NZ?
Lovetocruiseprincess Posted January 26, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2015 They had kettles when we were in Japan September 2014 That's what I though I had read. I wonder why they just don't leave them in the rooms all the time. Possibly the OP can request one from storage.
Colo Cruiser Posted January 26, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2015 No kettles in the rooms, but I do recall one of the ships having them when doing an Orient cruise a while back. How do you know they don't have them? Have you done a cruise on the Diamond lately?

soccerref Posted February 21, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 21, 2015 We had a kettle in our inside cabin in October 2014 on our Japan cruises and, as a Brit, it was a wonderful addition as we had brought our own 'PG Tips' tea bags so got a proper cuppa ....not this luke-warm stuff that passes for tea in some parts of the world! I believe that all cabins have kettles when ships are sailing from UK ports and I really don't understand why the kettles are removed in other parts of the world. It would be good to know if it is possible to request a kettle for your cabin.
